A teacher with a mission<\/h3>\n

In 2011, Arden Moore founded Pet First Aid for You<\/em><\/a> with one goal: to save pets\u2019 lives by preparing their humans. Armed with veterinary-approved training and her therapy pets \u2014 Kona the dog and Casey the cat \u2014 she began teaching pet first aid and CPR. These weren\u2019t ordinary classes<\/a>. Attendees watched live as Arden demonstrated life-saving techniques on her well-trained animals, turning abstract concepts into practical skills.<\/p>\n

\"GraphyOver time, Arden\u2019s reputation grew. She wrote 27 books on pet care, became a \u201cFear-Free Certified Speaker,\u201d and launched Oh Behave<\/em> \u2014 the longest-running weekly pet podcast in the world. Yet even as demand rose, Arden faced a challenge she couldn\u2019t solve with books, podcasts, or conference halls: she couldn\u2019t be everywhere at once<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The challenge: Scaling care beyond geography<\/h3>\n

Pet first aid is a life-saving bridge between \u201cuh-oh\u201d and \u201cthe vet will see you now.\u201d Arden taught her students how to stop arterial bleeding, perform CPR, or help a choking cat \u2014 skills that could mean the difference between life and death in the critical minutes before veterinary care.<\/p>\n

The demand was undeniable. Pet professionals \u2014 veterinarians, groomers, boarding facilities, pet sitters \u2014 wanted their staff certified. Arden herself had already trained over 500 instructors<\/strong> and taught thousands of pet parents each year<\/strong>, with her total reach climbing toward 20,000 people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

But demand outpaced her availability. \u201cI can\u2019t be in 17 places at one time,\u201d she admits. Zoom helped, but scheduling across time zones and balancing travel made it unsustainable. What she needed wasn\u2019t just another way to teach live \u2014 it was a way to let people learn anytime, anywhere.<\/p>\n

The turning point<\/h3>\n

That realization pushed Arden to explore self-paced courses. The idea wasn\u2019t new \u2014 it had been \u201con the radar\u201d for years \u2014 but the pandemic and increasing global requests made it urgent.<\/p>\n
