Teachable is a popular online course platform that allows anyone to create, host and sell their pre-recorded online courses. So if you have your videos recorded & ready, you can create an online course within half an hour without being tech-savvy.

Teachable Features

Drag and drop builder - Building courses on Teachable can get slightly confusing if you try to do it all yourself. But thankfully, if you follow their tutorials, it becomes easy.
Quizzes - You can add multiple choice questions alongside (or after) your lectures - this helps your students assess their learning progress.
Promotional offers - You can create coupon codes. This is a good way to run discounts and increase sales on your courses.

Teachable is affordable even on the paid plans, making it accessible to everyone.
Teachable is easy to start with - it best suits beginners to advanced-level users.
You can sell a variety of add-ons alongside courses like ebooks and services and even set up workshops and conferences.

Cons

Pay-out options are a problem for customers from outside of the USA.
Teachable doesn't include email marketing, community management, or landing page software.
Teachable does not offer gamification or live learning which can make your courses boring and not up to the mark, as per 2023 standards (where cohort-based courses are the norm).

"Good platform as a user - May be right for your business"

It would be way, way, way too expensive for my personal taste to use for my own businesses. I always look for lifetime deal software and if that's not possible, I would definitely find something with a much lower monthly cost. In my case, I'd use WordPress with some plugin(s) to achieve the same type of functionality.

"Teachable for Digital Course Product Line"

Teachable has some setbacks. Although I mentioned that it's a one-stop-shop and has everything you need, I still wish there were more customization options for how the course material is structured. I am all about customer experience (for our students), and I don't think Teachable gives course creators enough options to display and present the material. I think it can often be confusing to navigate as a student, and the course layout can be bulky making information difficult to locate. So while Teachable is easy to navigate and set up from a course creator perspective, I'm not convinced that it's the best for a student.

It's a smooth journey and you have everything you need in one place. Excellent UI and overall it's all you need. The overall coverage of all features a course creator needs. They even provide a payment gateway, which alone saves you plenty in commissions and monthly fees.
