Pros

Easy-to-use UI that makes running courses on Thinkific all the more seamless.
A very prompt support system responds to customer queries and problems and comes with an active Facebook group filled with Thinkific customers.
You can design the access portal, the courses, and the payment methods all in one interface without needing third-party integrations.

Cons

Not built for community engagement - in 2023, an LMS is not enough to successfully run courses. Thinkific lacks critical community features like gamification and incentive systems.
Cannot manage multiple cohorts under the same roof - this may constrain you as your courses start scaling and diversifying.
The pricing is slightly more expensive than alternatives and confusing for some.

"ZERO SECURITY. Use at your own RISK"

Most options are available with higher-priced plans. The biggest negative with the platform is that it offers ZERO SECURITY. A paid subscriber can access the content URL using a simple "View HTML" that can then be shared with anyone. Absolutely anyone.

"User friendly, although expensive"

As a small business who does not use all the feature, I find it fairly expensive. On the other hand, I would appreciate it if there were more flexible payment plan options, a sliding payment scale, and coupon code options to provide exclusive discounts. I don't use the selling/payment integration, landing page and confirmation email features or this reason. Everything except for the course itself is done externally and students enrol for "free".

"Thinkific LMS Review"

Very "user friendly", allows for a quick start and easy management (even if you are not "tech savvy"). Includes easy-to-follow tutorials for getting started. Offers a limited free version to test out the LMS before committing.
